CLIC Sargent adds in house direct debiting solution to CARE!

CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, announces it has purchased Albany ePAY from the pioneering developer of electronic payment software solutions – Albany Software.
 

CLIC Sargent, a charity collecting thousands of donations via Direct Debit per month, makes the move from an outsourced bureau service to managing and processing collections in-house. The solution will provide the charity with greater control over cash-flow, ensure maximum security of donor information and facilitate cost savings at a time when there is increasing pressure on the number of donations it receives from the public.

The Albany ePAY solution is a highly-scalable, intelligent multi-payment routing solution that has the capability to integrate, connect and deliver from any existing accounting or payroll infrastructure. It is for this exact reason that CLIC Sargent selected Albany ePAY with its functionality to seamlessly integrate with CARE, the charity’s existing database which underpins CLIC Sargent’s fundraising operations. CLIC Sargent processes around 9,500 monthly Direct Debit donations from its regular contributors, which can either be collected on the 1st or the middle of the month. Doody continues, “At CLIC Sargent we do not receive any government funding, therefore all of our services are delivered through the generous donations from the public. As a result, Direct Debit collections are at the heart of everything we do and we needed a reliable solution that would also allow us to increase the number of Direct Debits we process per month. Having the Albany Software solution in-house provides us with the flexibility and scalability to amend our regular donations when requested without incurring additional charges.”
